Between Halloween and Christmas there is a holiday that can often be pushed to the side: Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving unfortunately gets overlooked; ridiculous Halloween costumes and haunted houses dive immediately into the madness of last-minute Christmas gift searches and tree decorating. Although Thanksgiving is the middle child of the holiday season, it’s always important to stop for a moment and be grateful for family, friends, and the life we’ve been given.
I might catch some flak for this post, but I wanted to focus on inspiration from the 1970’s. The 70’s can come across as the decade of some of the worst décor and design. While I’m not going to completely disagree with that, there were a few good things to come out of 70’s décor such as vivid color display.
The autumn solstice has arrived and Halloween is well on its way!
