As stated in our previous blog, #trending: 2014 Color Trends, jewel tones are huge this year. One that has recently caught my eye is teal. While turquoise is always a great go-to for an extra splash of color, teal provides extra drama to your décor. Like turquoise, this darker hue can be used in a variety of settings no matter your style. Teal is a little more sophisticated and provides a certain glam factor that dresses up your space without coming across as too formal.

The pre-Lenten celebration of indulgence and debauchery consists of many traditions such as wild parades, lavish societal balls, and delicious foods.
