Outdoor living is forecast to become even more of “the thing” in 2013, and emerald green is the hottest color of the year. How would you incorporate shades of green fabric into your living spaces?
Over the years, drapery has been used in a variety of ways; to cover sunlit windows, to insulate from the cold and heat, as a room divider, and simply to dazzle a room’s appearance. However you choose to utilize your drapes, there are factors that come into play in order to help with a room’s overall styling; the type of hardware, fabric and drape styling you select each have a role in enhancing a space.
When we are in the middle of a harsh winter and cold temperatures, the dreams of springtime, and the color that it brings, tiptoe through our minds. Pantone must have had the same dream when they announced EMERALD as the Color of the Year. This brilliant color provides a fresh approach but is grounded in traditional roots. Our inspiration for The Drawing Board stems from this color.
