Gray Up Your Rooms For Fall

It’s true that more gray days are headed our way as we enter into the fall season, but who said it has to be a gloomy fall when it comes to home design? I say we embrace this sophisticated color by pairing it with the prettiest of patterns, colors and textures to make your rooms shimmer. These are just a few examples of what some of our customers are doing to dress up their spaces.

This Cushion Source customer opted to use this geometric fabric from Robert Allen for their reading nook in the basement. Notice the fun splash of blue and gray on the walls. Such a soothing palette.  These indoor cushions create an inviting area just below the stairs in their newly finished basement.

“I have been working on the basement for the past 2 years, and we are just now completing the final touches. The size of the cushions are perfect.”

A window seat in foyer entrance centered between a coat closet and a pantry closet brings a darling surprise to the space. The chartreuse and grey accents of the New Damask Greystone fabric by Robert Allen are striking against a trendsetting chevron pop on the pillows. May I also point out the lovely wainscoting that gives the eye just enough interest without overpowering the nook. Really beautiful!

This great flea market find was something this particular customer was looking to place in this modern room. The choice of modern boxed edged cushions brings even more sophistication and chicness to this area. You gotta love the map on the wall! Cool and fresh!

“I’ve been looking for this type of chair for months and finally found it at a flea market. Unfortunately the cushions were sad, faded and a terrible color. I wanted to modernize it a bit with a solid gray and found a great fabric. Now it fits perfectly in my room.”

This pretty little pooch looks adorable on this clever custom daybed. Made with a Micro-Fiber velvet gray fabric, it’s a luxurious look for this sun room. Love the long neck bolster!

“My husband made this walnut daybed for me from 35 year old wood he cut and processed himself. It is his original design. The custom cushion from Cushion Source complements the clean lines of the piece of furniture. Our dog really appreciates it!”
