When I blog about our fabrics on Cushion Source, I am constantly thinking of ways to use our fabrics. Just recently we got the new Robert Allen fabrics in stock. Because I help with placing our fabrics on Cushion Source, I was able to get a hands-on experience with these new fabrics. (When we add new fabrics to our system, we take samples and photograph them so that what you see in the fabric gallery are high quality representations of the fabric.)

Between Halloween and Christmas there is a holiday that can often be pushed to the side: Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving unfortunately gets overlooked; ridiculous Halloween costumes and haunted houses dive immediately into the madness of last-minute Christmas gift searches and tree decorating. Although Thanksgiving is the middle child of the holiday season, it’s always important to stop for a moment and be grateful for family, friends, and the life we’ve been given.

I might catch some flak for this post, but I wanted to focus on inspiration from the 1970′s. The 70′s can come across as the decade of some of the worst décor and design. While I’m not going to completely disagree with that, there were a few good things to come out of 70′s décor such as vivid color display.
